Seductive scents of blossoming citrus trees permeate the valley, and later on aromatic Primofiori lemons shine through the green of the leaves.
The fruit tree groves of Frutas Biobena SL cast a spell over the area around the small Andalusian village of Benemargosa in the Axarquia region. The finest lemons and exotic mangoes and avocados have been grown here organically since 2013.
The organic fruits are notable for their unique quality, as the right juice and acid content of the lemons, for example, determines the optimum degree of ripeness. This allows the finest, highly aromatic fruits to reach the shops, which are appreciated by lemon lovers far beyond Spain.
