Luxury watches - Part 2

What was your personal journey?

I come from Bremen and originally trained as a dance teacher. I ran a large dance school in Diepholz. On 5 December 1992, I had a serious traffic accident in which I injured two vertebrae (cervical and neck vertebrae). As a result, I was physically very unwell for a while. Today I am healthy and do sport six times a week. After the accident, I set up a trading agency for household goods, which developed successfully. Later, I started buying and selling property. By chance, I was approached by star photographer Stephan Pick from Cologne and that's how I got into modelling. For years, I worked as a model and singer in the music industry, which gave me a lot of pleasure. I had the opportunity to work with great artists such as the blind singer Joana Zimmer and the baritone Boris Martinovich. But the music industry was too superficial for me in the long run and I wanted to achieve something bigger. That's how the idea for the luxury watch came about.

What is luxury for you?

For me, real luxury is having a good glass of wine, a cigar and a few nice people around me. Of course, I also value the time I spend with my family, especially my brother, my wife and my daughter. Anyone who knows me knows that I love the finer things in life. An Aston Martin or a nice property are also luxury for me. But sometimes it's enough for the sun to shine - that's luxury too! Many beautiful things are free, like the sun, friends and family. Nevertheless, I openly admit that I also appreciate things like nice cars, champagne or good wine.

Which watch brands did you used to wear and do you now only wear your own brands?

I used to wear the usual brands such as Rolex and Breitling. Today, I only wear my own watches and enjoy the luxury of having a matching watch for every suit.
