TECLA: Earth for printed houses
Ecological produced Houses
A printed house of clay and an extraordinary approach for building in the future: with TECLA, Mario Cucinella Architects and the 3D printing specialists WASP have initiated a project that is unlike any other: TECLA is made of clay, which is transformed into a cocoon like house using a special 3D printing method and is intended to lay the foundation for future houses that are produced entirely ecologically.
The prototype shows that climate neutral, climate resistant and ecological construction is possible on a completely new level from regional biodegradable material, free from waste and ecologically questionable materials.
